Michael Albrecht, MD
Dr. Albrecht is the founder of BrightMed Clinic and a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine with over 10 years of clinical experience. He attended Kansas State University, the University of Kansas School of Medicine, and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Colorado.
He completed a fellowship in Clinical Informatics at the University of Kansas Medical Center, focusing on improving healthcare processes through technology, and practiced in the KU Weight Management Clinic during fellowship. Prior to fellowship, he practiced in Hays, KS for nearly eight years.
Dr. Albrecht’s vision is to make medical care safer, more cost-effective, efficient, and patient-centered—especially in communities with the greatest need.
